Palliative Care

What is Palliative Care?
Palliative care supports residents who have an advanced or life-limiting illness, helping them to live as comfortably and independently as possible. Rather than focusing on curing an illness, the emphasis is on managing symptoms, maintaining quality of life, and providing compassionate support to both residents and their loved ones.
We believe every resident deserves to feel safe, comfortable and at home throughout every stage of life. Our palliative care focuses on understanding each person's wishes, maintaining familiar routines where possible, and supporting families so they can spend quality time together while we take care of their individual care needs.
Our care teams work closely with GPs, community nurses and specialist healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive the care, treatment and support they need as their needs change.
