Falls Awareness Week

Falls Prevention Awareness Week is an annual opportunity to spread awareness about some of the common causes of falls and how we can work together to prevent them. Knights Care Group actioned Falls Awareness Week with various educational and fun activities for staff and residents to enjoy and learn from. Some of the weeks incentives included: Falls Awareness infographics displayed around all homes Extra training for staff around falls Exercise and mobility classes focused on balance and the importance of keeping fit to prevent falls Activity packs with word searches and spot the hazards games for residents and staff to complete together A great week of education, awareness and fun was had by all!
