Every picture tells a story, and at Knights Care we like to take photos of our staff and residents taking part in activities and enjoying life in our home.

We like to take photos of our residents when they are feeling well and enjoying themselves, it’s lovely to be able to share happy memories and we find that families really appreciate this.

Recently we have launched Relish Wellbeing, an exciting new activity record keeping and reporting programme which relatives are invited to join to see all of the activities their loved ones have been taking part in. Supported by photos of their daily activity, this provides a sense of comfort knowing that their loved one is enjoying a fulfilling and engaging life within the home, evidenced by these activity reports and supporting photographs. Randolph House has been one of the first homes to trial this new system, and we have gathered an abundance of positive feedback from the home since its launch.

Donna, daughter of Randolph House resident Sandra uses the app daily and has shared that she has seen her Mom do things she never thought she would.

Julian ‘s Mum Berenice has been with Randolph house since February 2024 and he has told us that he loves the app, there is a lot of information available on it and that he loves to see how involved his Mum is.

The homes activity team report daily on resident activities, providing families an insight into how their loved one is engaging, what activities they enjoy most, and how they are responding to the various activities on offer. It goes without saying that everyone is different, and at Knights Care our commitment is to person – centred care, enabling every individual to live a fulfilling and engaged life in our homes. We have found that the ‘about me’ section of the Relish Wellbeing system enables us to fulfil our commitments, ensuring that residents interests and hobbies are a focus in activity planning.

Knights Care partnership with Relish Wellbeing is still in it’s earliest stages, the time taken during these trials has allowed us to provide staff with the relevant training and we are strategically introducing the programme across our other homes in 2025 following the successful trials at Randolph House.
