The Alzheimer’s Memory Walk is an inspiring annual event that unites people from all walks of life to raise awareness and vital funds for those living with dementia. It’s a day of remembrance, hope, and community spirit, where every step taken helps bring us closer to a world without dementia.
This year, three of our Drovers Call Care Home staff members laced up their trainers and joined the walk at Clumber Park. For them, it was more than just a walk — working every day in a care home that supports people living with dementia, they see firsthand the challenges residents and their families face — as well as the strength, warmth, and resilience that shine through. Taking part in the Memory Walk was not only a way to support an important cause but also a heartfelt tribute to the people they care for and the families who walk alongside them.
We are incredibly proud of our colleagues for taking part in this meaningful event and for showing such dedication both inside and outside of the workplace. Their compassion and commitment are a true reflection of the values Drovers Call, and Knights Care, hold as a team.
